Please Lord let me remember You always.

When times are good and smooth it is so easy to remember God’s grace and His goodness. When the wind comes and the rain comes and we are calling out to Him it is very difficult to know that He will answer. There is an Indian Statue which I Love and you will be able to see it in my home if you visit. It is of Nataraj who represents God's Grace dancing to the play of His own creation. He stands dancing with his foot on a little demon who symbolizes forgetfulness. So among the many things that God can do; He can also remove our doubts and our forgetfulness.

God has given us so many ways to remember Him: Songs, Prayers,& Practices. As many members of my family celebrate Ramadan with fasting & praying it calls to my mind: that this is yet another way to remember the tremendous Grace Of God's Love.

Here is a portion of a poem that helps me when I need to remember God’s connection with me.

When we get separated, You rush to embrace us,

You come looking for us.

You have the feeling of Oness with us

Even when we don’t feel one with you

O Lord, have compassion on me and reveal Yourself to me.

Show me your true form.

So there is power within us to remember and not to forget but even when we do God is rushing toward us. May I never forget Your Love ~it is constant.
