A Well lived Life

A few people have commented on my smile! “I like your smile" they will say and you know how self conscious I am about those teeth so big, so individual, no uniformity like most people (ha ha ha) . I know what they mean though; they can see my heart, the love and joy that is in my heart. I am grateful to God for that Joy because it is reflective of the sweetness in my life.

Lately, I have been thinking about the real friends I have in my life. They are not all on face book in fact many of the real friends never will enter that way of communicating. These friends are often difficult to stay in contact with and it can be 3 to 4 years between our visits but when we get together it is as if we pick right back up from where we left off. The friends from Germany are like that. I know I told you about them. I finally got a chance to meet her man and how wonderful was he …Very Wonderful.

We just wanted to talk & talk and did not get a chance to do any of the things we planned to do~ next time. We laughed and reminisced and compared notes about the life in Germany & life here. Hey they don’t perk their coffee ~~~ Wow. Well I am going to Germany soon ! I actually cried as they drove off. The tears were a mix of sadness that it will be so long before I see them again But Joy that they are out there somewhere holding a piece of my heart and that a bit of them gets expressed in my smile. My life is rich & over flowingly wealthy because of the people I am honored to call my Friends…
