I have been praying for more faith . Better faith /a faith that would sustain me through the doubts and fears of 2 mortgages , the challenge of selling my old place and the confidence to host a party. Well it was slotted for the Sept 12th & I was not ready to host my house was a mess the Flat screen was on the floor. The boxes & crates lined the basement and the papers that have been growing into a mountain were piled in the living room. Julia said “You better cancel this”. Then hung the phone up!!!
Well something in my heart said don’t cancel We wont do it if we do that. Amy agreed and said she would back me up. Would you believe my job could not give me the day off either so my doubts quadrupled and I was panicking . Then robby came to town! Un-believable that he would come! He mounted the TV with a wooden apparatus that is remarkably beautiful He dusted and cleaned He got the Grill going and had stories along with Mom to make everybody in a great mood Julia sang OUR LOVE IS HERE TO STAY and with Derek’s family Ms Evey and her husband & brother My friend Vivian Amy Jackie we really had a memorable time. Mom was so great and spent the night .
Our Love is here to grow and grow I looked around and felt that other song Over my head I hear music in the air…God’s ways are so specific so sweetly targeted to our needs and when bigger challenges mount He rises to meet them with us . I do not claim to understand it that’s why I am singing Over my head It’s more than my comprehension but Lord what a sweet melody…
This was Great ! We missed you Jayne and Tony but it will have to be for the Holidays!!!
