Invariably Sophia gets out. It does not matter if it is raining or blowing she likes to prowl outside. All of my people know that she is very sensitive about her weight and have been so kind not to use the word f.a.t around her. Julia did once and she was jogging the steps for a week. Yesterday while drizzling I went out to get my mail and she zoomed past me to the front so I went behind her and decided to let her explore. My neighbor walks up and asked: “Oh is she having kittens. “ I wish you could have seen her face~ It was a full blown assault on my girls ego. She was appauled~ she cleared her nose and looked at me like: “Defend me!!!! “ So I so “Please shhhh she’s very sensitive about her weight” My neighbor laughed. Not a good enough defense. I added that she has actually came down quite a bit. Sophia needed me to pick her up to go back inside very miffed indeed. ~She pranced inside and it took all night for her to forgive me. I love them very much but boy what animals cats are…

I cannot imagine a sensitive animal about their weight.(Bragging) We keep our beloved puppy on a strict diet...ie. We can't afford too much food for her. She gets very angry and has pretend temper tantrums when we don't get her after dinner desert. She's never been fat and she answers to the nickname "Maggot" when unsympathetic Emily wants to show us how smart Emma really is. LOL
I love that your Sophia is so sensitive and expects you to defend her. My children use our poor dog for target practice when they want to see Elyse get sick. Not really, but we really do love her and try to treat her good, she just is sometimes in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets stepped on.:)
I think i am making up for manchester !!! I really do spoil them both but it makes me feel better!!They love you no matter what which is a great feeling.
