More on Discipline

I remember being tied to the net by my high school tennis coach in order to teach me the volley. I absolutely hated that but it taught me to go beyond a limitation that I had , a fear of being hit by the ball. Tears and cursing I did it and now my tennis buddies know not to let me get up to the net cause I am going for a winner up there.

I think of dancers that have to learn a routine first step by step then by heart when it is second nature and has a bit of the dancer’s flair in it.

It is not an easy trait or virtue Discipline to keep trying even when you are tired even when the world is saying that you will fail it is important to face that fear to put yourself to the challenge and be the Champion that This World is calling out. That is right the challenge the difficulty is the world calling out to that inner Champion to : Come on Out Put that ball away! Do your thing…

For me it is a number of things that I feel up against right now.

· Getting up on stage when each and every week.

· Selling or Renting this Apartment

· Showing up when people are dying and having the courage to care.

· Loving my friends

What is a limitation for you? What is scaring you away from your Goal ? One thing for sure is that the challenges do not stop! They continue, so: let’s get disciplined and take the steps for the Dance of our Lives the world is in need of our Flair!!!
