I have cardinals that visit in the snowy dawn! I watch them when they perch. It is usually Donatello & Sophia that call my attention to their presence. They both get this eager look on their faces " Let me at em."
I also like to watch the Cardinals take flight flapping effortlessly & they move from branch to branch so gracefully. What it must feel like! Flying~ Whew.
I have missed blogging cause I have been working a lot and trying to get used to the new atmosphere up here. Altitude of the birds! Life sometimes shifts and you are all of a sudden at a new level with new challenges .The feeling is one of what I imagine flying might be like. I am not sure I would be very good at it, because of my tendency to ask for the ground " where is the ground Where????
So I want you to be updated on so many of the great things. We had a great Kwanzaa Celebration and MLK holiday. I even had Aunt Ann and my friend Vivian over. Jackie gave me a Tea set & I was so inspired to have people see it and share that we ended up having a party of sorts. I wish I could have blogged through out this but I was really amazed that it worked out except Jackie did not think the Tea tasted very good. Details ha! she's the best host I am not! Here are some photos from those days. I did not tell you that Miles & his son were over on New Years Day because I was watching all of that with the same type of question: "where is the ground ? / how long will this friendship last? But he has proven himself Dear and met almost everybody. Can you believe that? His son is so much like he was at a similar age . Miles Jr & Kamaal painted and we had a blast! It took me a little while to digest that but then the world keeps spinning right?
Karla, Amy Chin , Grandma Chin Ed Muffin & her Husband Zeek, Saj, Nyra, Ilana, Maleeka, Kamaal and everybody came! It was great fun for me! Sorry for the late news. I will try to be better but I think you understand.
So keep praying Jayne. Sometimes things work out~

So I see I did tell you about the New Years Meeting with Miles Jr & Kamaal but the Tea Party was omitted ! Please pray for me. I see I am getting things all mushed together! I will keep you better posted. Oh BTW it snowed here last evening so we have our dose!

Take it one day at a time. He met the whole family. I am im-p-RESSED! You look radiant. Glowing! I am glad that he has made himself dear to you. It is you who has to love him, not the rest of us. Although, if you hate him, we don't have a problem hating him with you. LOL. Looks like you had a wonderful time flying through the teaparty. Wish I could've been there.
Did you see the old movie, Lady and the Tramp? In that movie, there are Siamese cats that make a mess, trying to get at the fish. I imagine your precious kitties showing their claws at the cardinals in the window. I love the word picture and I can just see you enjoying the beauty of the birdlife and keeping your kitties from going "at em".
