"For you shall go out in Joy, and be led forth in Peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." Isaiah 55:22
- God is real
- Miracles can happen
- More eyes are opening
The oil is still flowing! It is difficult not to panic and despair. The question is: 'what are we doing'. We have not put the proper safeguards up for our world in the face of such times it is so difficult to have hope. Our areas of ignorance and immaturity as a people are stark here. We are exposed as the children in need of supervision that we really are. This is not the only area. Yes, we can yell at the BIG OIL men because they have deep pockets but the blame is all of ours as the consequences are all of ours as well.
There is also healthcare, education not to mention Wall Street and the media outlets all have behaved out of alignment with the greater good of culture and Society. Every sector has shown that when the bottom line is the dollar you miss tremendous opportunity and tremendous folly is not far behind. We have got to grow up and measure our actions on the basis of what will bring us closer to God.
So this is not only a lament but also a cry for God's help!
Dear God,
I am holding your promise up in supplication LORD! Please help us. We need your might, your Love and your Grace! Show us in our individual lives what we should do to stop the oil contamination but also help us collectively live together better. Help us find PEACE and Purpose that brings us closer to you! Although these may not be easy actions to take show us the way Lord Show us the way! Amen
So here is my list why have hope:
Many more reasons to have HOPE are popping up everyday but these are a few to get us started!

I just love it. The older I get, the more that I see that aging is about teaching the youth to be hopeful about something. There is so much to be annoyed about at my age:). Nearly 50, not as young as you younger, children...LOL. I am grateful for the reminder and I remember Larnelle's song...God loves you. "Hope, like a flower grows..." Thanks for the reminder. Love you!
