My senses came back to me with a rush. Kamaal sent a beautiful Thank you card with Daisy’s and lady bugs on it with a hand written message sent through the mail! WOW~ It is remarkable how quickly my distraction is corrected when I have Kamaal telling what I NEED to do. He is over tonight and we went on our weekly trip to the Doggy Shop. We flirt with all the Dogs and dream about one day really getting one. One day soon I hope. He tells me emphatically that I NEEED A Dog! He will help me pay for it and care for it and the works. (LOL) I love the way he sees things. He reminds me of that brighter side of Dad! He loves to sing Michael Jackson songs. Saj came with us which he loves because he loves Sajeeda as I do! Well he was so tired and fell asleep before I could finish all the chores I have to do in order to prepare for tomorrow. He had gone through some old photos and made a pile that he will use for his keepsakes. Holding on to memories and learning who is who in our family, makes me feel really proud! He pointed at Enoch and Evelyn and Emily and wanted to know who each was. God is so Great! I know we all know that but it is moments like these when we are together for real ~ that reminds me how much God loves me & I am safe!

I do love how much of Dad that I see in each one of them. It is uncanny that one man can have so many sides reflected in his offspring, like the facets of a diamond. I know that there are other pieces of them, but I see Dad alot in them.
A dog is really a NEED. They are just, unconditional love and companionship all rolled up. They are also a good responsibility developper??
Dad would have loved that too! it is remarkable. I know you say that you can not see yourself in your children but I do. They look out of their eyes with the same wonder and fascination that you have. It's the best gift you can give them.
I want a dog but need to get a little more free space in my life so i can enjoy the dog. Who knows? It has been
